This book covers a very important but neglected topic, as children we are not taught how to learn or how the brain works, this book eloquently covers how we can improve our learning , how children are taught to learn by rote memorization instead of creative techniques which are more effective and efficient, it’s akin to going by bullockcart when faster car is available to travel.The language is simple and fun, author has used lot of stories to keep content engaging. Kudos to Monica for bringing out this well needed book. Highly recommend ed for all students, teacher and parents.

A must have for peeps involved in academics, education and in service. This book so rightly questions the basic problem that is there all over but is still a secret. HOW TO LEARN? before i read this book i never even thought that yes- no one teaches how to learn. And if this one problem of how to learn is tackled by our current education system, our students lives would be at much ease. The language of the book is very simple and easy to understand. The anecdotes mentioned in between makes it easier to understand the underlying topic. This book is different from other books because it not just preach something, it makes the reader participate in the learnings by noting down their own observation. the picture summary at the end of each chapter makes it so easy to remember understand and summarise what we read in that chapter. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and would recommend every teacher, every parent and every student to read it.
